A town hall council chamber: a long table, rows of chairs, tall windows and a stone floor in daylight.

One intelligent workspace for public administration.

Your institution's knowledge, documents and systems, connected with the public sources your teams rely on.

Your administration already has the information. Alix makes it usable.

Alix connects that scattered knowledge and makes it usable from one interface.

Every request.To the right action.

Alix analyses what is being asked, searches what the employee may see, checks the public sources when needed and proposes the work. The employee verifies, adjusts and validates before anything happens.

  1. Understand the request

Alix analyses incoming questions, emails and documents and identifies what is being requested.

Alix's search bar with a question typed into it.

    • Mes documents and Sources publiques, switched on or off per question
    • Limiter à un dossier, to hold a question to one folder
    • Attach a file, or dictate instead of typing
  2. Search across the institution

It searches all the information the employee is authorised to access — internal documents, procedures, previous cases, emails, archives and connected systems — and every claim comes back with its source.

An answer with numbered citation markers and an open source card.

    • Internal documents, previous cases and correspondence searched at once, each result tagged with the collection it came from
    • A numbered marker at the end of every claim
    • Voir le document, to open the source in full
  3. Check trusted public sources

When necessary, Alix retrieves the relevant passage from legislation, government websites, administrative procedures, official forms or open data, and opens it at the cited paragraph.

The official circular open beside the answer, cited paragraph highlighted.

    • The cited paragraph highlighted in the original, not retyped
    • Passages (9) — every extract this answer drew from the file
    • The original still downloadable, page count and all
  4. Identify the right workflow

The applicable procedure, the required documents, the responsible department and the next steps — asked of the document itself while it is open.

A follow-up question typed into the document's own chat panel.

    • A summary, a precise provision, or an explanation
    • Answers that cite the document they are inside
    • The Passages tab stays alongside the conversation
  5. Prepare the work, stay in control

A clear answer, the relevant information and documents, and the administrative work prepared. The employee verifies, adjusts and validates the result before any action is taken.

End of the answer: summary table, state-of-the-law date, and Sources (5).

    • A summary table where the cases diverge
    • État du droit — the date the law was read
    • Sources (5), counted at the foot of the answer

Frequently asked questions

What a college of aldermen asks first.

No. Alix connects to your existing systems — email, storage and shared folders — with no migration and no reorganisation. Your filing habits stay your own, and Alix builds the links on top of them.

Only if they already had access. Rights are inherited from your source systems and checked before every answer. A social action file will never surface to an officer in the technical department because they asked a general question.

The secrétaire communal, as today. Alix produces a timestamped, checkable draft, and the official version remains the one the commune adopts. Recording, its retention and who may reach it are configured sitting by sitting, according to whether it is held in public or in camera.

It answers only from your published content, and always cites the page or document it came from. When a question goes beyond that scope, it says so and points to the department concerned rather than producing a plausible answer. It has no access to any file on a named individual.

That is precisely the point: the context of a file — the exchanges, the decisions and the reasons for them — stays in the commune rather than in one person's memory. A new colleague picks up a file with its history reconstructed.

In Luxembourg, under European law, with no transfer outside the EU, processing included. The commune remains the controller within the meaning of the GDPR and we act as processor, under contract.

Give every public employee access to the knowledge they need.

Less time searching. Less repetitive administrative work. More consistent answers. Faster processing of requests. Better preservation of institutional knowledge.
